Roof Conductor Holder Clamp

Roof Conductor Holder Clamp (ARK-SS03)designed to secure a lightning protection conductor along an approved roof-level route. In a conventional external LPS, the roof conductor may form part of an air-termination mesh, perimeter ring, branch connection or route linking air terminals to down conductors. The holder provides a defined fixing point so the conductor remains positioned as designed and does not shift due to weather, maintenance activity or normal movement on the roof.

The product is suitable for projects where the roof construction and conductor arrangement are compatible with the clamp design. Before selection, the installer should confirm the conductor diameter, mounting surface, fixing method, roof finish and environmental exposure. The route must be coordinated with drainage, waterproofing, roof joints, access areas and mechanical or solar equipment. Where dissimilar metals are present, the complete material interface should be reviewed to control corrosion. The clamp should not be used as a substitute for engineering decisions such as conductor spacing, air-terminal positioning or separation distance; those are defined by the LPS design.

As part of the ARK External Lightning Protection System by DFMHUB, ARK-SS03 can be coordinated with ARK round conductors, straight connectors, cross connectors and other fastening components. This gives contractors a consistent product family and gives consultants a clearer basis for material approval and inspection. Using identified LPS components also improves traceability in project BOQs and handover records, particularly on larger industrial and infrastructure projects where many roof routes are installed.
