Metal Roof Holder Clamp

ARK-SS02 is a metal roof holder clampdeveloped to support lightning protection conductors on metal roofing systems where a secure and coordinated fixing point is required. Metal roofs are common across industrial sheds, warehouses, factories, logistics buildings, commercial structures and solar facilities, but roof profiles and materials can vary significantly. A purpose-made conductor holder allows the LPS route to be installed in a controlled manner while reducing dependence on improvised drilling, strapping or general-purpose hardware.

The clamp should be selected based on the actual roof profile, sheet material, conductor diameter, fixing orientation and exposure conditions. On metal-roof projects, the installation team must also consider corrosion compatibility between the holder, conductor and roof finish. The lightning protection route should remain coordinated with roof joints, flashings, skylights, access paths, solar modules and other equipment. Where the roof manufacturer restricts penetrations or specific fastening methods, those requirements should be reviewed before installation. The LPS designer should determine the conductor layout; the holder’s role is to retain the conductor in the intended position.


ARK-SS02 is supplied as part of the ARK External Lightning Protection System by DFMHUB and can be used with compatible ARK conductors and connectors. This system-based approach helps EPC contractors and consultants maintain consistency in product selection, BOQ descriptions, material inspections and handover documentation. It also makes replacement and future maintenance easier because the component can be identified by part code rather than as an unspecified site clamp.
