Product Description & Engineering Scope
Detailed technical specifications, material performance & installation guidelines
Equipotential Bonding Bar (ARK-BBSS) is an ARK earthing and lightning protection component manufactured by DFMHUB in India. It provides a common, accessible point for connecting designated protective, functional or lightning bonding conductors. It is intended for engineered systems in commercial buildings, industries, data centres, high-rise developments, infrastructure and solar projects. The catalogue code gives procurement, consultants and site teams a controlled item to coordinate with the BOQ, approved drawings and inspection plan.
Equipotential bonding reduces hazardous voltage differences by bringing designated conductive parts to a coordinated reference. A bonding bar is an organised connection point, not a substitute for conductor sizing or system design. Its section, terminal count, insulation supports and enclosure must suit the fault, protective, functional and lightning-bonding duties assigned by the consultant.
Every termination should be accessible, labelled and mechanically secure. The bar material and connected lugs must be compatible, particularly where copper, aluminium, galvanized steel and stainless steel meet. The approved schedule should identify conductor sizes, terminal hardware, tightening torque, spare ways, mounting arrangement and the continuity or impedance checks required at handover.
DFMHUB supplies ARK as a manufacturer-led product range rather than an assortment of unrelated trading items. Drawings, material selection, fabrication or assembly, dimensional inspection, packing and order-specific documentation can be coordinated before dispatch. The final technical submittal should state the exact grade, dimensions, finish, tolerances, connection details and test evidence agreed for the selected configuration. This approach builds traceability without replacing project engineering with broad marketing claims.
